Decide whether you are ordering a repeating pattern by the metre or a panel \u2014 a single composition with specific dimensions.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"what-should-you-check-before-uploading\">What should you check before uploading?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dimensions in centimetres.<\/strong> For a panel, check the size of the entire graphic; for a repeating pattern, check the size of the repeat tile and motifs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Image quality.<\/strong> Assess it at the final print size. A small image may look good on screen but show pixels or blur when enlarged. Simply changing the setting to \u201c300 DPI\u201d will not add detail.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Colours.<\/strong> Prepare your file in RGB. Do not convert it to an arbitrary CMYK or printer profile.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Layout.<\/strong> Check orientation, cropping and scale. For a repeating pattern, view several copies side by side to spot gaps and misaligned edges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"how-should-you-save-your-design\">How should you save your design?<\/h2>\n<p>Keep the source file. For printing, save your design as a <strong>JPG at maximum quality of 100% and a resolution of 150 DPI at the final print size<\/strong>. Avoid screenshots \u2014 changing the DPI value alone will not improve an image that is too small.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"before-confirming-your-order\">Before confirming your order<\/h2>\n<p>After uploading, check the preview and the selected pattern size in the configurator. Make sure your design fits within the <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.printella.pl\/en\/help\/materials-and-printing\/print-width-and-planning\/\">print width of your chosen fabric<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If colour or fine detail is particularly important, <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.printella.pl\/en\/help\/materials-and-printing\/ordering-fabric-sample\/\">order a 46 \u00d7 46 cm sample<\/a> on your chosen fabric before a larger print run.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"need-help-with-your-file\">Need help with your file?<\/h2>\n<p>You can commission Printella to prepare or adjust your print file for a fee, for example to resize it or fix pattern joins.
