A sample with your own print measures 46 × 46 cm and lets you see how your design looks on your chosen fabric. It is worth ordering one before your first larger order or when switching to a different fabric.
What should you prepare?
Choose a fabric and prepare the final file or a section of your design at the intended scale. Include the colours and details you want to check. If you are comparing variations, label them clearly.
You can upload the print file for your sample through the configurator. If you need help, email shop@printella.com.
What should you check when your sample arrives?
Check the colours, pattern size, clarity of fine details and fabric texture. View the sample in lighting similar to the conditions in which the finished product will be used.
Keep it together with the file and fabric details — it will be useful when placing a larger order. For more on assessing colour, see why print colours differ from your screen.
A print sample or a fabric swatch set?
A fabric swatch set helps you compare the available fabrics. A sample with your own print also shows how your specific design looks on a particular fabric.
